About Me
I am a holistic house call veterinarian certified in Acupuncture, Tui-Na, and Veterinary Medical Manipulation Therapy (like human chiropractic therapy) through the Chi Institute. I am certified in Western Herbal Medicine and Natural Animal Nutrition through CIVT. I also utilize cold laser, food therapy, and other modalities to treat cats and dogs in the Phoenix metro area.

We first met Dr. Peg LaCombe in July of 2018 when our oldest Bichon was diagnosed with lymphoma. Without treatment he was given 6-8 weeks to live. Dr. LaCombe came to our house to examine our dog, and prescribed several Chinese herbs. She also administered laser treatments. Under her guidance, our Bichon lived for 15 more months, without the side effects that often come with chemotherapy. Now, our second Bichon was diagnosed with Cushings over a year ago, and has been doing well on her supervised regimen of Chinese herbs and laser.

Where can I begin with Dr. Peg and the team at At Your Bark and Call?
When we brought them in initially one of my senior dogs with numerous health issues had recently lost his long time vet. Dr. Peg and her team were up to speed in no time, and not only gave him more time but increased the quality of life during the time he had left. When he had experienced his last possible good day, his passing, with their assistance, was the most peaceful I have ever experienced. She cares for three of our dogs currently and one cat. Her expertise in Eastern and Western medicine, her ability to read and triangulate bloodwork and articulate that into treatment, the way she reads the whole animal - it is unparalleled. When specialized medicine is required her referrals are spot on. I discovered Midwestern Companion Animal Clinic because of Dr. Peg. Dr. Peg has an holistic view of health and we could not be more confident in her guidance for our animals well being. She is clear in her communication, available when we need her, and even though her insights sometimes makes my brain hurt with how thorough they are, we can't imagine not having access to them.
